I was born in the middle of the Cold War, at a time when people often spoke of East-West tensions. Perhaps that is why I felt such strong emotion when I saw live images of the fall of the Berlin Wall…

About ten years earlier, humanity's first steps on the Moon were just as amazing. Those live images, shown at the time on a black-and-white television, are still deeply engraved in my memory.

In the decades that followed that world-changing event, we discovered the great bands and pop icons: Pink Floyd, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Yes, Supertramp, Queen, Dire Straits, Frank Zappa… Their music is still listened to today, and samples from it are still used in modern tracks. We followed the release of their legendary albums with the wonder of children gazing into a toy store window, just as we once did with new hi-fi equipment.

You see, I love sharing my enthusiasm! On plenty of other subjects too!!
