Burgundy Wine Tourism: Private Taxi Tours at Your Pace
Route des Grands Crus, Beaune and châteaux, with an English-speaking driver
I take you on half-day or full-day tours of the Côte-d'Or: the vineyards, Beaune, the abbeys, the hilltop villages. You choose the route, and we talk in English all the way. No group and no fixed schedule, just you and your driver.
Historic Dijon
The Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy, the Owl's Trail (rue de la Chouette), and Les Halles, Dijon's covered market. I know every corner of my city.
Route des Grands Crus
From Dijon to Beaune through Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Clos de Vougeot and Nuits-Saint-Georges. Burgundy's most famous wine road runs through the Climats, the vineyard plots listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can stop at domaines and cellars along the way.
Beaune & the Hospices
The Hôtel-Dieu des Hospices de Beaune (15th century), the medieval ramparts and the merchants' cellars. Every November, the Hospices auction their wines, a sale followed around the world.
Fontenay Abbey
A Cistercian abbey founded in 1118 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nine centuries on, the church, the cloister and the forge still stand among the gardens. 75 km from Dijon.
Château de Châteauneuf-en-Auxois
A medieval hilltop village above the Ouche valley and the Canal de Bourgogne, listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France". From the castle, the view takes in the whole valley.
100% English service
"I speak fluent English and German, so you can enjoy Burgundy without any language barrier. I love sharing my region's history, wines and food."
